Comerica Park and the Tigers!

Final score - 3-2! And it was a homerun in the bottom of the ninth that broke the tie!

But that wasn't the only fun of the game. Rob had gotten a batch of tickets (15 in all) and had invited a bunch of his friends, plus me and my best friend, to go to this game.

It rained off and on all day. We just made sure we all had rain gear and off we went to Comerica Park. We first stopped at the Old Shillelagh for something to eat and drink and then headed over to the game in the bus.It continued to rain throughout most of the game. I'm sure that if this game was earlier in the season they would have postponed it, but this is the last series with Texas this season. In fact, today's game is the last one, and rain is predicted for tonight too.

We (Ginger, Joann, and I) didn't sit with the rest of gang (stopped going up the steps to our seats when a man told us that he KNEW the people who sit in front of him were not coming - we must have looked pretty pathetic going up the steps - one with a walker, another with a cane)

We had a blast! Poor Rob was so concerned about us. He kept checking on us, but we all knew that if you go to an outdoor event you have to expect outdoor weather!
