Pack your bags, it is time to hit the road for the Piece of Scrap Summer Vacation!!  We leave June 18th and don't get back until August 19th.  To travel during this vacation, you need to do some scrapbooking/cardmaking/or make a scrappy item. Challenges will be posted every Monday and Friday.  All completed scrapbook layouts/cards/crafty item will earn you miles as you hit the road.  And the best part?  You don't have to really leave home :)

Back to School at Piece of Scrap

We know that some kids started back to school already but September is considered the traditional “Back to School” month. Here at Piece of Scrap we’re going “Back to School” too!

Throughout the month we will be posting videos, blogs, and even some of our own homemade posts on how-to-do various scrapping techniques. Hopefully we will find something that will be new to you. We encourage our POS members to make their own how-to posts of their favorite technique.

Starting on Monday, September 5th, three different techniques will be posted. You may choose to do one, two, or all three of them. And we’ll post three new ones each Monday.

Did we hear you ask “Is that all there is?” Of course not . Every student has a big project they have to do. How could we forget our fourth grade science fair, or eighth grade shoebox diorama? We’ve got to have a big project for the POS members too .

BIG PROJECT
Use a sketch and the Monday Funday techniques to create a one or two page layout. This will be progressive and due by Friday, September 30.

The "catch" is...you must add to the layout weekly and show us progress on the layout (no waiting until the last minute)

Progress reports are due on Wednesdays - this will be a photo of your layout in process...
