Photos from today's walk

The small olives on the Autumn Olive bushes are ripening up. The birds must be already eating them because there are not as many as there were a week or so ago.

The raspberries are all gone from the bushes along the trail. The birds (and the neighborhood kids) have been having a feast on those, I imagine.

Amazingly enough, we have plums on our flowering plum tree. We just thought it was just an ornamental tree, but this year has proven that it is more than just another pretty tree.

What is kind of funny is that there is a rule in our community that says we are not allowed to have fruit bearing trees in our yards. Of course, I love to break the community rules like this one.
